Could ArenaNet make another elite-areas weekend event?
Many, many players would like to get their HoM-statues from Deep, Urgoz and DoA. I see no problem with DoA or Deep, but especially in Urgoz, there rarely is no-one, even in international districts. One such a weekend would be nice for all the players hunting for those greens and HoM-statues and it would refresh the playerbase of those elite missions. For example, I mean event like this:
This coming weekend offers special bonuses for players who enjoy missions, roleplaying, and unique items. Factions players will be granted access to all Canthan elite missions the entire weekend via an NPC in Kaineng Center. In addition, there will be double rare loot drops within Canthan Elite Missions during the weekend! This exciting weekend will begin on Friday, August 4, at 12:01 a.m. PDT (07:01 GMT) and will end Sunday, August 6, at 11:59 p.m. (that's Monday, August 7 at 06:59 GMT). We hope to see you there!
What do you guys think?

I'd like an Urgoz/Dee or a Mallyx one.
It seems no one wants an elementalists with all skills and all titles in Mallyx. Why not?
But since this weekend is PvE, probably the next one will be PvP.

Even though this does seem like a good idea, it has been fixed with the use of passage scolls. a possibly more permenent fix to the inactivity in those zone would be to add the follow rewards:
5k kurzick/luxon faction for defeating urgoz/kanaxai in Normal mode
10K kurzick/luxon faction for defeating urgoz/kanazai in Hard mode
Max title would take killing urgoz/kanaxai 500 times in HM, and the run on average would be take longer than 25 fast faction farms (10K). Think this would breath more life into those two zones, and make it similar how DoA give Lightbringer rep.

I don't see that ever happening, but it is very difficult to get those statues in the hom. Do what I did, if there's no people ever there, lean on your friends list (the people you've done hm missions with, or vanquished or whatever) and your guildies. That's what they're for!

When this bonus points count direct towards the title, then signed.
But what anet has to do is imo giving certain professions for those elite areas some new useful skills, so that players can have for those classes also some skill builds, which make them good to have in a team.
The Deep and Urgoz have both way too much class discrimination
try to find as normal ranger in the deep a team, you won't find any, because everything what players search there are either elementalists, tanks and naturally monks... all want ever only the same lame group builds, because that seems to be the only way to play those elite areas in factions successfully, unless you make an ursan team ...
thats silly.. every profession, regardless of their builds should be able to give a good help in a party for those factions elite areas, especially, where the team size is in them 12!!!.
Every class should be able to get easily into a team for those elite areas, one thing that should be changed first to bring in more life into those 2 elite areas ...
also those 2 areas need something new, like the DoA Gems, with those playersa are able to create something new very valuable, that can be traded in for something, somethin I'd say, like canthan rare minipets like Nagas,Yetis, Grawls, Onis, Kanaxai, Vizu and so on
say those elite areas would have then 10 special Items like gems, say for example amulets, crystalls, orbs, medaillons or whatever... 1 for each Profession. To create the trading item for the minipets, you need then 5 of each professions item and the only each profession can receive the special item of their own primary class.
This would mean, that party have to take players of all kinds of classes into the elite areas, so that the profession related special items find into the game, so that the tading items can be created ...they would be an awesome new community way to make money and also a great way to make those ridiculous insane limited rare minipets more common, givign them finally an unlimited source, so that every now and them some new undedicated ones will find into the game (Once somebody got from all 10 professions 5 special items ,traded them for 1 trade item and traded this than for 1 of those minipets)
then in addition also a trader npc for golden deep/urgoz weapons (like tormented weapons)
the system in the deep/urgoz should then really work very similar to the gem way in DoA, because thats the reason, why the DoA is very much more popular, then the elite areas of cantha, because the DoA is much much more rewarding...you can make with collecting gems very good money.... in the deep/ugorz, u have nothing really rewarding there, other then those greenies at the end ...and those ones get(got) more or less over time overfarmed
/signed...
...for a massive improvement of the deep/urgoz, to make those areas more interesting and rewarding, to let them come up to the same interest/rewarding level of the DoA

Thats too much faction per run...
everyone and they're grandma would have r12 Saviour
FFF is already too overpowered as it is, the only reason it isnt abused (like this method would be if it were introduced) is because its mind-splittingly boring.
Diverse things to kill, good drops, same faction as FFF, rare items... it would be abused...
Cut faction gain in half (or less) and /signed

There's a reason for this. Onis teleport when hit. Onis loose in the backline are bad. Therefore, a ranger that uses a bow is completely useless during very long segments of the run, as he can't fire his bow. This wastes time. Wasting time is bad. It prevents you from doing additional runs and making more money.
I've seen the occasional effective trapper, but as a team leader considering a trapper you're looking at a 5% probability of taking on a good player and a 95% chance of taking on an epic failure. Balance that against the 40/60 ratio of getting a competent ele, and the fact that you need at least 6-7 players that don't fail to complete the mission, and you get the idea.
Try thinking about things from the perspective of your team rather than being me-me-me selfish and wanting to play a specific class. GW is a team game, dude. If it's generally known that 'X' is the optimum way to do something, and you want to do 'Y', that's fine if you're running the group and can get a full team to agree to let you do it. Otherwise, do what you're told.
